Isola 33

If our founder Mario Comitti was alive today what would his reaction be to the Isola 33 ?: her open bow, full-walk around deck layout & central helm station, were certainly not typical design concepts associated with traditional speed boat builders on Lake Como. But we know he would love a Comitti boat with the versatility to be either powered by outboard engines or stern drives to suit an owner’s personal preference.

Today the Isola 33 represents the most elegant & versatile open bow speed boat on the market. No matter her intended use; as a family pleasure boat for the weekends, a gentleman’s fishing vessel or just lying at anchor to a tropical sandbar party, she will always be looking desperately pretty. When employed as chase boat to a superyacht, powered by diesel outboard engines, she is unique in retaining the grace and elegant styling of a Comitti but delivering the practical day to day functionality of the crew’s much-loved tender.

Isola

Isola being the literal translation for the Italian word for ‘island’ is a very unique model family in the Comitti range. Unique because our Isola boats are all of an ‘open bow’, central helm and full ‘walkaround deck’ design. They can be specified with outboard engine(s) or the more traditional layout of stern drive propulsion with swimming platform.

LIFESTYLE

The open bow layout provides wrap around seating with a rise & fall dining table. A triple seated central helming station enjoy the view of a beautifully arranged navigation console; accommodating multiple chart plotters and classical instrument read outs. The deck galley with twin drawer fridges, sink & cooking facilities provide for al fresco dining, whilst there is a beautifully appointed below deck washroom, accessed from the bow. Finally an aft dining area, with twin dinette sofas around a rise & fall dining table, enabling alternative use as a sunbathing area. If stern drive propulsion is specified the added benefit of an extended swimming platform adds to the Isola 33’s multiple luxuries.
